This notice explains how SafeTide Recovery handles information when you visit this website, request a consultation, schedule support after follow-up, or follow a link to an outside service.
Who we are
SafeTide Recovery is a virtual trauma and addiction recovery coaching practice. Questions about this notice or your information can be sent to [email protected].
Information this website handles
This is primarily a static informational website. SafeTide does not currently use its own analytics, advertising pixels, user accounts, or a website database. Like most hosting providers, the website host may process basic technical information—such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps—to deliver and secure the site.
Scheduling and consultation information
The free-consultation questionnaire is provided through Google Forms. Information you submit there is sent to and stored by Google for the SafeTide team. Please share only what is necessary to request support.
If SafeTide sends a scheduling link after reviewing your request, that outside scheduling service may collect your name, email address, appointment selection, responses to booking questions, device information, and cookies according to its own privacy practices. Do not use forms or scheduling tools for emergencies or include detailed medical records, diagnoses, payment-card information, or highly sensitive information unless specifically requested through an appropriate secure process.
Other outside services
The site links to Google Drive resources, GoFundMe, Instagram, and Facebook. Those services may collect information when you visit them. Their privacy policies and account settings—not this notice—govern what happens on their platforms.
How information may be used
- To respond to questions and consultation requests.
- To schedule, confirm, and manage appointments.
- To provide coaching information and requested resources.
- To maintain safety, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
SafeTide does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers used to operate scheduling, forms, email, hosting, or other requested services; when you direct us to share it; or when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect someone’s safety.
Retention and your choices
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, recordkeeping, safety, and legal obligations. Retention within Calendly, Google, and other providers may also depend on their settings and policies.
You may contact SafeTide to ask to access, correct, or delete information the team controls. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, for legitimate safety reasons, or to document services. You can manage Calendly cookie choices through the banner or settings shown in the scheduling tool.
Children and teens
SafeTide provides educational resources for different age groups. This website is not intended to collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or legal guardian should make contact and participate when required by applicable law or SafeTide policy. Do not submit a child’s sensitive information through public or general-purpose forms.
Security and limits
Reasonable care is used when handling information, but no website, email, embedded calendar, or online form can be guaranteed completely secure. Coaching communications are not the same as communications within a medical patient portal and should not be assumed to have the legal protections of clinical treatment.
Updates
This notice may change as SafeTide’s services and tools evolve. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are made.
